Supported Living
Our supported living services are designed to empower individuals with long-term conditions by encouraging their independence, while providing the comforts of having their own home and private space. This model of care strikes a crucial balance by providing our service users with the freedom to lead an independent life, with the security and support they need to thrive in their daily activities.
What conditions do we work with?
Physical Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries
At our supported living facilities, we provide comprehensive care for individuals with severe and complex physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Our services are meticulously designed to focus on achieving outcomes that are significant to each individual. We emphasise skills recovery and adaptation to new life routines, aiming to help individuals regain their highest possible quality of life. Through thoughtful and compassionate care, we ensure that each person’s unique needs are met, fostering independence and enriching their lives.
Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
Our inclusive services cater to people with a variety of mental health conditions and learning disabilities. We understand the unique challenges faced by individuals with these conditions and aim to deliver personalised support that enhances their well-being and fosters lifelong learning. Our team is dedicated to enabling individuals to live life on their own terms, achieve their personal goals, and engage with their communities in meaningful ways. This approach ensures that each person receives care that is both empowering and respectful.
Autism and Behaviours That Challenge
Supporting individuals with autism and behaviours that challenge is a key focus of our care provision. We employ patience, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving to develop deeply individualised support plans tailored to each person’s specific needs and desires. Our goal is to enable individuals to thrive in their own unique way, actively participate in their community, and live independently. By embracing positive risk-taking when appropriate, we foster an environment that encourages personal growth and empowerment
Dementia Care
In the context of dementia care, our approach is centred around adapting our caregiving strategies to meet the needs of the individual. Rather than expecting changes in their behaviour, we work diligently to positively manage and understand complex behaviours associated with dementia. Our team is trained to offer support without judgement, creating an environment of dignity and respect for all individuals. This compassionate and personalised approach ensures that those with dementia receive the highest quality of care, enhancing their quality of life and fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Background to this inspection
CQC Stated:
”This service provides care and support to people living in 3 ‘supported living’ settings, so that they can live as independently as possible. People’s care and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. CQC does not regulate premises used for supported living; this inspection looked at people’s personal care and support.
This provider is required to have a registered manager to oversee the delivery of regulated activities at this location. A registered manager is a person who has registered with the Care Quality Commission to manage the service. Registered managers and providers are legally responsible for how the service is run, for the quality and safety of the care provided and compliance with regulations.
At the time of our inspection there was a registered manager in post.
We spoke with 2 people who used the service, 5 relatives and 2 representatives about their experience of the care provided. We spoke with 11 staff members including the provider, the registered manager, the deputy manager, 1 team leader, 6 support workers and the administrator.
We reviewed a range of records. This included 4 people’s care records and medication records. We looked at 3 staff files in relation to recruitment and staff supervision. A variety of records relating to the management of the service, including policies and procedures, training data and quality assurance records were reviewed. We sought feedback from health care professionals working with the service.”
